AhlulBayt News Agency: A group of saboteurs attacked the Imam Reza (AS) Islamic Center in Birmingham, the UK.
Carrying flags of the Zionist regime and the former Pahlavi regime, the vandals inflicted some damage on the building of the center.
They were a group of anti-revolutionary elements and their actions are part of the plots hatched by US and Israeli spy agencies against Iran.
According to police, 14 members of the group have been taken into custody for disturbing public order.
It comes as systematic Iranophobia and Islamophobia have been on the rise in the West.
It also comes as recent riots have been confronted and calm has returned to Iran, with people returning to normal life in cities across the country, which has angered seditionist groups who would like violence and riots to continue.
Violent rioters backed by the Zionist regime and the US vandalized public and private properties in a number of cities across Iran earlier this month, killing some ordinary people and security forces and inflicting injuries on others.
They vandalized public properties, blocked streets, attacked the administrative buildings and police stations, and killed and injured a number of security and law enforcement forces.
They also set fire on several mosques and desecrated copies of the Holy Quran.
Later, rallies were held across Iran to condemn the rioters and their backers, the US and the Israeli regime.
